Yiwu is a hard place to find a nice hotel, and I was hopeful about the Ramada, but it has some real problems:
- My room faced a courtyard which featured a rooster who crowed all night (I thought they were only supposed to go in the morning).
-Air conditioning did not work.
- The bed was infused with the smell of cigarettes.
- The room had motion activated light near the bathroom (as a nightlight, I suppose), that flickered on and off all night.
-They blasted the Muzak in the hallway , interfering with my enjoyment of the crowing rooster as I tried to sleep.
- They could not find my reservation, which I made via the Ramada web site. They got me a room, but it would have been a major drag if they were full.
On the plus side, the restaurant was not bad.
Stayed just one night at this new hotel in Yiwu. The room was very comfortable and well laid out with super raindrop shower in the bathroom as well as a bath tub. The Chinese restaurant also serve excellent food - you can choose from actually looking at mock-ups of the meals before you order!
Overall a very pleasant experience for a very little money!
