We have stayed at this hotel every year since 2001. It is 3 blocks from our children's orphanage and one block from the famous pedistrian street, The WuMa. On the WuMa, one can find everything - shopping, fancy restaurants and little food stands. There is a small grocery and pharmacy near the hotel.
It is hard to find people who speak good English at the hotel, but they are very,very friendly and helpful. Mr. Li, the mngr. of The Lobby Bar, is a true gem. He will do anything to be of help to you.
