We spent three nights on Green Island. We booked the hotel through a travel agent, so did not know what to expect. The room was small and spare with two queen size beds ( a little cramped for two adults and two children), but the place is spotlessly clean and the linens were fresh and crisp. The hotel manager, Mr. Chen was very helpful and especially thoughtful with our two kids, making them toast and tea in the evening, for example. Very kind people working there. You can get good Chinese food across the street, and sing karaoke with some of the locals if you wish. If you want a view, try the upper floors (we were on the 3rd floor). The rooms looked a little more spacious there. They can pick you up and drop you off at the ferry if you ask. It was not a resort type hotel, but we enjoyed our stay very much.
