Stayed one night as part of a self drive trip around Taiwan. Location is spectacular and the outdoor naturally heated spa pools are a real highlight. We stayed in the pools for more than an hour. Room quality was acceptable if a little tired and probably in need of some refurbishment. Bathroom not particularly modern but entirely functional. However it was very clean and bed comfortable. Meal in hotel needed to be pre booked and whilst it was only GBP 6 was disappointing. The hotel put on a small cultural show in the evening (Saturday) which was enjoyable. Staff spoke very little english. At the back of the hotel was a very scary rope bridge which was far too long and high for us!! Overall a good experience but I would not want to have paid more than the NT$3600 we were charged (probably cheaper in the week). Booking direct with hotel by email was very straightforward - located in Wulu on the east side of the Southern Cross Road
