I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip first, for nearly a month last September. First impressions count right. When you arrive with the taxi, you have a bellboy opening your car door, and then you go through the hotel's door and you are overwhelmed by the luxurious lobby. I wasn't expecting that much for the low price I was paying. That could be the price of a B&B back home! The staff is really nice, always trying to help and treating you like stars. The rooms were nice and very clean, and the facilities inside the hotel were good too, with in particular a bowling alley. They have 4 restaurants, a buffet with various styles of food (including western), a Chinese, Japanese and Korean restaurant.
I then stayed with my girlfriend two months later for 3 weeks and we loved it. One thing I would advise is to ask for a king size bed if you expect one, as their basic rooms are with twin beds and even if you book as a couple, they don't seem to think it can be a problem!
The location is good for business men as a lot of companies are in this area. There's a western supermarket 5 minutes walk from the hotel, but you need to take a taxi to go to the city centre (maybe 4kms). That can take more or less time depending on what time you are travelling! But just ask the concierge or the receptionist for direction and they will tell the taxi driver where to take you! Taxis are dead cheap in China anyway, so it will only cost you 1.50 pound (20RMB).
I really recommend this hotel, as you feel really welcome and special, and it's super clean!
