A great staff and a great location. There is no other hostel in Sanya that compares.
The double bed air mattress was too soft. I am used to the hard mattresses here in China and grown accustomed to a hard bed to sleep in. Other than that the staff and facilities were excellent.
Had read previous reviews of this place that stated it was great and that the owner Peter really looked after his guests. It's all true. The staff go out of their way to make sure the guests are well informed about various activities, safety precautions, recommendations, etc... The place is really clean and affordable. About a block or so to the beach. Great location. Overall a great stay.
Don't stay in the first floor dorms, they are really loud. The beds are quite hard. They said something about new Ikea mattresses but that can't be true. Overall not bad but the bathrooms were really dirty.
location is excellent, staff also. nice place to hang out and easy to meet people. cleanliness is ok, it was clean, but that's a different standard in china :)
