The internet description of the hostel was completely eronious. We arrived to be greeted by someone who did not speak a word of english and we had no idea of what was going on. We were taken to another building altogether, that resembled someone's apartment, it was all a bit dodgy and unorganised.
I set a great plan to celebrate the 2009 New Year with my HK friends. I made the room reservation 3 months ago through emails and phone calls. They quoted me with special rate HKD320/night for 2 persons. I thought I was so lucky until I found out it was actually a dirty trick to attract the foreign travellers! When I step in the hostel and showed them my confirmation email, the owner, Ms Chan said they do have a room for me but I have to add additional HKD100/night!! I tried to ask for a reason, they yelled and told me I can go get others hostel or hotel if I am not satisfy. It was peak season in HK, where am I going to get a place to stay in such a short moment then??! Extremely Sad, angry, and regret...I paid them the amount they WANTED and stayed. This is not a place of business but invisible robbery!! My room has no hot water and one of the ceiling lights was spoilt (as I reported it to the reception, they just ignore it!). If you do not wish to be the next cheated victims, please...please stay AWAY from this hostel and forget about all its pictures and seductive advertisement on the website!
I made a reservation with a landlord on september for a couple of days. When I got there, she arranged me a room, but really small one, and the worst, no hot shower, broken air-conditioning, and the blanket was smelling urine. Nasty! I moved out in the same day! She said that's normal for the price I paid! My GOD!
This was very easy to find and perfectly located next to the subway and a block from the main bus stops. Dining and shopping both very close.
The room was tiny though! WiFi was advertised, but we couldn't get it in our room. Everyone was very sweet and we had no problems communicating, though it wasn't always Engish.
Rate was nothing close to what is adverised here on TA, 350hk, which is closer to $50USD than $21.
i did have a hard time. locating this place no signage whatever, and i was expecting someone will be helping us to bring our luggage to another building, i was shoocked it was only a lady who doesn't know how to speak english.we were bickering can't hardly understand each other
but the good thing about this the place is clean but its very small you can hardly moved around. and they clean it every day.
Forget about the dodgy building the reception is in (its above the starbucks on peterson rd if you have trouble finding it) the room we stayed in was across the st and was clean, the bedding/towels changed after 2 days, the location is great 2 min walk from metro, in the heart of causeway bay. Only prob we had was that they didnt have internet but its free at the public library which is about a 5 min walk away. The hostel offer a laundry sevice and will try to be as helpful as they can be although their english isnt great you can get across your meaning. Would stay here again for the price in HK!
Reviews

Skip this hostel, in HK there are lots of better of this!
The pictures in the web site of the hostel NOT ARE REAL!
The rooms are 3 meters for 2: are very small. There is the spase only for 1 double bed.
The bathroom in orrible and not clean.
WARNING IN THIS LOCATION IS HIGH THE RISK OF INFECTIONS!
GOOD LUCK!
