We stayed here for two nights at the end of a tour of China.

This was the third time we had been to Hong Kong (previously stayed at the Miramar (now The Mira) and the Excelsior and the Sheraton was the best of the three hotels !

The hotel is a large upmarket hotel with all the facilities you could want, several restaurants and bars and a great location near Nathan Road on Kowloon and near the cultural centre and the star ferry terminal. It lives up to what you expect of a large 5-star hotel :)

We made use of the restaurant for breakfast, the Oyster Bar for dinner, the Chinese restaurant for lunch and the Sky lounge for the fabulous lightshow (a MUST !). And there were at least 2 or 3 other choices :) The food was great, very good quality, lots of choice, great menus.

There is also a gym and rooftop swimming pool...

HOWEVER, unfortunately we couldn't make use of the swimming pool because there was a typhoon !!! But during the typhoon the staff were great. We saw no sign of the service deteriorating and the staff were really friendly and helpful in dealing with all the rain :)

This is a great hotel and well worth considering if you want a big plush luxurious hotel in a great location.

I stayed here on a trip to Hong Kong, splitting the time between the Sheraton and the Eton. The Sheraton was picked because it was a superior class hotel, and the Eton was picked because it was a good class hotel at a much lesser price to spend the rest of the holiday.

Our room at the Sheraton overlooked the harbour and the Hong Kong skyline, which was amazing, particularly at night time when the firework show was on. The room was very modern, with a curved glass desk, nice furnishings and high quality cotton bed covers making it really comfortable to stay in. The only downside was the rather odd 'glass wall' of the bathroom, which means that unless you turn down the blinds, the other occupants of the bedroom can see exactly what you're doing. Not so bad if all you're doing is taking a shower, and the other person in the room is used to seeing your body, but not so great when you just want to take a quick trip to the loo. Apparently, the reason this is done is because you get the amazing Hong Kong skyline views from your bathroom because of the glass wall. Nice, but I don't go to the bathroom to spend hours gazing at a view, so not particularly a useful feature. That's my only downside, but as I say, you just keep the blinds shut and there's no problem.

The rooftop pool is fairly small, with a few sunbeds and a spa, but is a great retreat from this bustling city. There's no bar up there so you need to take your own refreshments.

The hotel is centrally located, and close to the ferries to hop on to the nearby beautiful islands. Lantau Island is particularly beautiful with the giant buddha statue and the Po Lin Monastery. The monks serve up a mean vegan lunch menu.

I would definitely recommend the Sheraton as a good quality, central hotel in Hong Kong. It's also located close to the main quality tailors to get the made to measure shirts and suits made up before you return home.

I stayed there a few times; lately this year in Jan. Quality has gone down each time. The hotel has an ok location and from some rooms, you can see the harbour (but some buildings are in front). Apart from this, there is nothing special and you may want to consider better places in HK.

I liked:

- views from my room (happened to have a high floor harbour view)

- room design (nice; good room service)

- fast check-in/out (typical starwood)

I would have liked

- a better location (TST is really crowded since all the ships anchor here; difficult to walk around due to lot's of construction. Island hotels are better located)

- nicer atmosphere (many package groups, naturally US/Japan heavy)

- nicer breakfast (pretty standard fare, super busy, noisy and crowded, well below average)

- a nicer club room (booked exec room but their lounge is a basic "no window" room on the smookers floor instead of the rooftop room some years ago - no wonder nobody uses this)

For Hong Kong, this is a pretty basic hotel. Given the choice, I would always prefer Conrand, Shangri-La, Oriental, etc

Stay in Sheraton 09-13 December 2008.

Initially booked the hotel through the hotel's website for late December after Bangkok:, but due to the civil unrest in Bangkok have to divert to go to Hongkong first.

The hotel's reservation Team had been very helpful and let us adjust the booking, and even offering the best rate for our adjusted stay time.

The hotel has really good location. In the Southern end of Nathan's Road (The golden mile) - with very easy access to nearby Malls and shopping centers.

Check in was done very quick and efficient. They were able to accommodate my request for several additional hours to check out (since our flight will leave in the evening), charging by the hour - not that many hotels will do that!

Rooms are quite nice - even though still have the old bulky TV - need to upgrade to LCD to keep up with the competition!

Water pressure very good even on the 8th floor, with consistent high temperature hot water.

The hotel gym is medium sized bordering to small, but to my delight have quite a good selection of fitness and weight lifting equipments.

Breakfast was fabulous. Many choices and the service was fast and efficient.

The concierge in the hotel was really helpful. When my son caught a fever during our stay, he helped with the case, and even advising to use a medical facility in the next building that is cheaper than other facilities around with the same quality!

The hotel has a Tour/Travel office that helped with the tickets to Hongkong Disneyland and Ocean World, and they even suggested the transport to take to those places to get the best experience.

Check out was a breeze, very quick and efficient as elsewhere in the hotel.

The hotel is good, and the people are very helpful. All in all, a very good value for money.

A great location.....close to the ferry, beautiful harbor view from our room and very comfortable. Some might say the room is small, but we had all of the amenities we needed. A good bed and a very functional bathroom. We did not dine in the hotel. Very helpful concierge desk.

Much of the action is now on the Hong Kong side. Nathan Road is limited to jewelry shops and small shops. No more bargains in this city.

Nothing to complain about the Sheraton.

We ate at Gaia and Waguy.......both were enjoyable and rated a "B" in my rating system.

Hotel was being renovated when we stayed there so I am sure that it is even better now. The location is very good and the view of the nightly light show couldn't be better. The rate included breakfast and it was very good. The quantity and variety was incredible. The night market was fairly close as was the ferry to Hong Kong. High tea was wonderful I highly recommend it. Spa services were nice as well and the pool area overlooked the city; very nice. I would always spend the extra money for the city view.

Good hotel with a high level of service. Located accros from the Peninsula Hotel and my room had views of Nathan Road and the harbour. Good selection of restaurants, but a bit pricey . The buffet breakfast was good with a large selection, but pricey at USD$32.

I stayed three nights in a deluxe harbor view-room with a great view of Hong Kong skyline. Good hotel-location in bustling Tsim Sha Tsui. Near harbor promenade and Star Ferry.

After staying five nights at ultramodern W Hong Kong, it was like travelling decades back in time then I arrived Sheraton. The carpet-style and old TV-set in my deluxe-room showed that this hotel isn't completely updatet.

Efficient service from hotel staff.

I stayed in the Hong Kong Sheraton in October 2008 and I was very pleased with the service of the hotel.

The local is perfect as it is at the base of Nathan Road. Both the Star Ferry and MTR are very close.

As expected from a Sheraton the rooms / washrooms were excellent. The restaurant/buffet was also exceptional but it is pricey as it is a hotel.

I was lucky to be in Hong Kong during the China birthday celebrations so I was able to watch the fireworks from the rooftop pool. Towels are provided for those who like to swim.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They all spoke excellent English (as with most HK residents) and helped with directions and anything I asked.

There is free internet, all you gotta do is ask the check in desk or concierge for a access code. You get 45mins but you can ask for more.

It's also worth noting that the cheapest and a fairly quick way to get to the sheraton is to take the Airport Express train to Kowloon station and then catch the free shuttle. When you buy more than 1 ticket for the Airport Express the price goes down quite a bit.

Had 4 nights at the Sheraton Hong Kong - what a fantastic hotel. Worth paying the extra for a harbour view. Breakfast was as good as you could get and the mini bar promotion was well used and very reasonable . Food in the hotel restaurants was very expensive . There were so many good local restaurants especially around the Temple Street area which were authentic and really good value. It was about a 15 minute walk up Nathan Road to Temple Street markets and the whole area was really buzzing. Pool was immaculate and never crowded even though it was quite small.Took a trip to Stanley and Repulse Bay which were lovely and reminded me of South Africa.

We stayed for 4 days and loved the hotel. Its located in a fabulous position just minutes from Nathan Road, opposite the Peninsula Hotel and across the road from The Avenue of Stars, a fantastic harbour side walk with stunning city views. It took 35minutes taxi ride from the airport which costs $200HKD and its approx 45mins using the airport express train to Kowloon Station.

Check-in .

We arrived around 9am and had no problems checking in early to our room and just in time for breakfast.

Room –

Our room 810 was a deluxe harbour view room located on the Starwood Executive Floor. The room was on the small size regarding suites but it was extremely comfortable with fabulous views of the harbour and the city landscape. The room consisted on a king size bed, mini bar. Tea/ coffee facilities/ TV/ working desk and broadband internet connection.

Bathroom – My husband absolutely loved the bathroom, the vanity unit had two bowls and was made all from glass, so the bathroom was chic and modern with a walk-in shower and a large bath.

Restaurants –

The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. It has an amazing selection of food from Chinese to European to Western. You do however have to do some serious walking afterwards as the brekkie can last you for the whole day.

The Celestrial Court Chinese Restaurant is excellent but a little pricey. Upstairs on the 17th floor is the Sky Lounge which has amazing views of the harbour and skyline. At 8pm one can watch the light show which lasts for approx 30minutes. So make sure you book a window table and enjoy a cocktail.

The Sky Restaurant which is next door to the lounge is a fine dining restaurant serving contemporary modern cuisine, its expensive however the food is excellent.

Facilities –

A terrific health club on the top floor with first-rate equipment. The outdoor swimming pool is small but its comfortable with plenty of deck chairs available.

Overall –

We loved the Art Deco building and its very comfortable rooms and the position is excellent. It’s a delightful hotel offering fantastic food and facilities. We will be back !

The Sheraton Towers in Kowloon are very centrally located on Nathan Road, towards the Hong Kong Island end of Kowloon, and across the street from the Penisular Hotel.

Room decor was refreshed with a fairly eclectic blend of modern glass bathroom sink with the more traditional wood furnishings. Not sure it's my thing but still comfortable. Bed was good quality.

Hotel service was overall very good. The top floor of the hotel includes the pool, multiple jacuzzi's, sun deck and gym (which includes modern fitness equipment, a small studio room and sauna in men's change room). Gym is operated by Fitness First Platinum so some people are locals with membership. Avoid the peak after-work period for that reason.

Also on the roof is the Sky Lounge. Highly recommended for the great view of the Laser Show (8pm) on Hong Kong Island. House guests seem to get priority window seating too, so make sure you tell them you're staying in house. Their wine list was reasonable. I ordered a couple of cocktails and found them disappointing quality for a bar of this type (and price). Food was also relatively expensive.

A pleasant surprise (other hotels take note!) was the mini bar promotion - with most items priced as "7-Eleven + 10%". I hope this catches on with other hotels.

Concierge was also very helpful and attentive. Good advice given for a day trip to Macau, restaurant tips and general guidance on things to do in and around HK.

While Sheraton is normally a business hotel, I found this was also a great place to stay for a short 3 day break. Will definately stay here again.

This Sheraton is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's location is along the waterfront right at the foot of the famous Nathan Road and within walking distance to all the shopping in Kowloon.

Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is about a 5-10 minute walk away, Granville Road and its shops are 10 minutes away and if you're up for some exercise, the Temple Street night market is about 15-20 minutes away though you could also take the MTR a few stops to save some time and rest the legs. Avenue of the Stars and the harbour are also just steps away but as of September 2008 there's road construction in the area so you'll have to take the underground pathway/mall.

My room on the Starwood Preferred Guest floor (half the floors are SPG floors) was large and spacious with the Sheraton's signature bed and pillows (which were too soft for my tastes but that's a personal preference), couch (which doubled as a bench for my suitcase), TV (CRT, not LCD) with about two dozen English channels available and a gorgeous bathroom. I had a courtyard view (it's better to just keep the drapes closed) but at check-in was offered the option of upgrading to a harbour view suite for 450 HKD which I declined.

The rooftop pool and sauna never felt crowded and also offers a westward view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. Views to the south and east are blocked by the south tower. The cardio and weight room is rather small (but with a great view of Victoria Harbour same as the pool) and I think with more than maybe 10-12 people would feel crowded. A separate warmup/yoga room also sits next to it.

Access to the internet is freely available to guests either by ethernet to your laptop, wifi in the lobby or with the half dozen PCs available for use also in the lobby.

We also made use of the concierge/guest services who answered all our questions and gave us recommendations on everything from how to get to the hotel from the airport using the quickest and least expensive route, local stores and shopping, which MRT routes to take, various costs of attractions and pretty much anything we could think of. With the concierge we didn't even need to use the internet to look anything up and perfect English was spoken by everyone we encountered there. Even the wait staff and housekeeping would always acknowledge and greet us in the hallways.

Both a la carte and buffet are available at The Cafe in the lobby for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but know that coffee/tea isn't included in breakfast (unless you get the buffet) and you'll be charged for it. What's strange about this is that just outside The Cafe is free coffee/tea available for guests so hold off on your caffeine fix under after you're done eating. With the buffet there's a wide selection of American, continental and Chinese as well as fresh fruits. I would recommend this for your morning carbs and protein to kickstart your day as the a la carte selection, while better, doesn't really offer a satisfying plate for the money I found. The dinner buffet at The Cafe is one of the best I've ever had in my life with a wide selection of sushi, Chinese stir-fries, roasts and seafood. I gorged myself on sashimi and softshell crab.

It's about 45-60 minutes to or from the airport by the Airport Express line and free shuttle bus with the cost being 90 HKD to/from Kowloon station.

As a Platinum Starwood Preferred Guest, I tend to stay at lots of Sheratons. I actually switched from the J.W. Marriott to this Sheraton, and enjoyed the Sheraton better and for $100 less per night.

The Sheraton is in Kowloon, and very conveniently located to major shopping and cultural locations, plus the Star Ferry and other major hotels. There is a McDonalds, Starbucks and Spaghettic House within a block.

Road in front is under construction, which is a problem. When that is done, this will again be an excellent choice to stay while in Hong Kong. It is also only a 10 minute ride to the Kowloon Station, which I ABSOLUTELY recommend when leaving Hong Kong by air. Wow, did it save me time to check in there rather than at the airport.

Food at Sheraton cafe was very good for breakfast. Shopping plaza under building. I stayed in a suite on the back side of the hotel which was very quiet. Fitness center was really good. Pool was small but on roof so that was nice. Lounge on top floor had excellent view of the harbour and Hong Kong Island, especially for the 8 pm. light show.

Metro stop within 1 block of the hotel.

Front desk was efficient and friendly as was the concierge.

My second time in Hong Kong in two years, and my second stay at this Sheraton. I will stay here again.

Stayed at the Sheraton Hong Kong for 7 nights. In that whole time they didn't miss a beat. Nothing we asked for was a problem and our requests were carried out to the letter. Near the end of the stay my partner remarked that surely something was going to go wrong with the hotel or a staff member would upset us or something but nothing like that happened at all. Almost every day they did something for us that surprised us at how thoughtful and welcoming they are. If you are the sort of person who likes to complain then that would be the only reason you would stay away from this hotel as you will be hard pressed to find things to complain about.

The breakfast buffet was exquisite right from the selection of cereals right through to the man who cooks your eggs any way you like them.

I was in Hong Kong for my birthday. We returned to the hotel room after being out during the day to find a birthday cake waiting for me. This wasn't asked for and shows how thoughtful they are into making your stay as comfortable as possible.

On the last night of our 7 night stay they sent up a complimentary basket of fruit to say thankyou for staying with them and hoped we had enjoyed our stay. We told them we definately had.

Every possible convenience is provided in the room. If there is something else you want in your room it's just a phone call away. We had a harbour view room. The view came into it's own each night with the light show that happens at 8pm. It was great kicking back in the room with a glass of wine and watching the show.

Next time I'm in Hong Kong I will definately be going back to the Sheraton and will be recommending it to anyone I know who is visiting the city.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay very much. Even though it is a business-oriented hotel, staff made our junior feel at home. Little touches like apples for picking at the lift lobbies on the guest floors, moisturiser in the common restrooms (& lovely decor too), a postcard which they would post for free, etc, surprised us.

Its central location meant easy connection to everywhere. We used the airport train-cum-free airport shuttle to get to the hotel this time, which was not too difficult. There are linkways to a nice supermarket (Sogo) and good choice of shopping for convenience. Breakfast at the Cafe was very nice with great fresh variety of choices (must try the donut !).

We would agree with one of the earlier reviews about loads of touters hawking imitation watches on the side of Nathan Road just behind the hotel - we had a scare when a huge group pushed us literally to harrass a Japanese couple in front of us. I supposed there is nothing the hotel can do; except to avoid that stretch of the road. Other than this, we had a great time and wish we could stay longer.

Overall we like the Sheraton for its location, quality property and professional service.

Four of us spent six nights here as a getaway.

It was typical of a Sheraton, quite excellent.

Sadly we booked two harbour view rooms, neither of which were available on arrival. We got one eventually, but that was indeed disappointing.

The restaurant was excellent fro breakfast and dinner, as were the pool facilities and bars. We really enjoyed the stay. It would be our choice for our next stop on Kowloon, as it is close to rail and tour locations.

We have stayed in many of the Starwood’s chain hotels and this one is just above average.

Cons: The decor is dated and the rooms are small compared to other countries, but we expected small rooms in Hong Kong.

Yes the Wi-Fi is crap, but the net is free in the lobby and the in room pay to use is reasonable & fast.

Pros:

The service was fantastic from start to finish. During our stay we had a minor medical emergency and the response from all the staff was great.

Views from the bars and restaurants are great. Don't brother getting a harbour view room. Just go up to the bar and enjoy a drink. Time it for the light show at 8pm, but note it's not all that special.

Location is great with regards to transportation and shopping.

Thinking about it I would consider going to another hotel for our second visit to Hong Kong but you don't have to twist my arm to go back to the Sheraton.

We spent five nights at the Sheraton in July (broken up at the beginning and end of our trip to China.) On our second stay, we were upgraded to a larger, harbour-view room. There were no problems requesting non-smoking rooms.

First of all, there is a shuttle to the hotel from the airport. This was very easy.

The hotel is in a fabulous, safe location in Kowloon. Walking distance to the ferry, MTR, etc.

The in-hotel travel agency is great. Internet is now free for 45 minutes at a time in the second floor lobby.

There are many English television channels. Rooms are clean and nice and quiet. Air conditioning is great, as was the bathroom and toiletries. Nice pool and hot tubs.

We ate at the Café several times. Service is not great, though one hostess was really nice. The a la carte menu is better than the buffet.

Our main complaint would be that it took the bellmen ages to either deliver our bags when checking in, or collect them to be taken downstairs when checking out.

Overall, we were very, very happy, and would have no problems recommending this hotel to anyone.

We recently stayed at the HK Sheraton for 2 nights May 24-26, 2008 using Starwood points and had a room on the Executive Level. Here are the pros and cons:

PROS

1. The location is great if you want to be on the Kowloon side. The TST subway stop is right there, the Star Ferry is about a 10 minute walk away and the Sheraton is on Nathan Rd.

2. The workout facility is on one of the top floors and has the most amazing views of the HK Harbor. The gym equipment is new and kept very clean.

3. The toiletries in the room were by Etro (upscale Italian line) and were plentiful.

4. The room was small but well appointed with good reading lights, TV, fax machine, etc..

CONS

1. The hotel's decor is an 80's style and seems dated and vaguely depressing. There is lots of shiny brass, dark blue carpeting, low ceilings, etc... If you see their dining room on the top floor, you will know what I mean.

2. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and somehow got put on a smoking floor. (You can see in the elevator which floors are designated as non-smoking.) Our hallway noticeably smelled like stale cigarette smoke although our room smelled ok.

3. The concierge lady in the Exec. Level lounge was rude and unhelpful. I logged onto the free terminal to check in for my flight and then noticed that there was no printer on which to print my boarding pass. I asked if I could print the pass to her printer sitting on her desk. She curtly told me no and to go to the Business Center (18 floors away) if I needed to do that. In addition to not being happy about her attitude, I think that it is pretty common nowadays for travelers to want to print out their Boarding Pass and the Sheraton's Executive Level lounge should be equipped to handle this.

4. The Bell Captain Desk pretended not to know the times for the Airport Shuttle Bus, I guess so we'd have to take a taxi to the Kowloon Airport Shuttle Rail Station (and therefore grease the wheels of the Sheraton bellmen/taxi guys relationship). I am pretty sure that there is a schedule for the Airport Shuttle Bus Stop next to the Sheraton. We stayed at the JW Marriott in HK a week before in our trip and they knew the times of their bus stop schedule. Just sayin'.

5. This is not the hotel's fault but directly outside the doors on Nathan Rd. are a multitude of Indian men aggressively hawking you to come with them to see "copy watches", purses, DVD's etc... Some men even tugged on our shirtsleeves and followed us down the street. It was irritating and made the general area near the Sheraton seem downmarket, cheap and tacky. We did not experience this kind of behavior over in Central (other side of Harbor).

All in all, it was a "free stay" so I really should not complain but if I had paid to stay at the HK Sheraton, I would be a little annoyed. It would not have been good value for money. Also, I much prefer the HK side to the Kowloon side.

We stayed at the Sheraton Hong Kong for business. It's a decent enough place (not great - not terrible) on the whole, but how a contemporary hotel can exist without wireless Internet access is beyond me. They do provide a wired ethernet service -- but be aware you will need to pay extra for it (at a premium hotel)! The lack of Wi Fi is especially troubling since both their website and the person checking us in indicated it was available. We will not be staying at the Sheraton again and I hope that any visitors requiring wireless will reconsider.

Again, overall the place is clean with smallish rooms with a contemporary feel. But the lack of wireless makes this a non-starter for me (and I suspect it will be the same for many of you). Making the whole thing even more frustrated is that you will be able to pick up the network of the neighboring hotels. However, without the proper password you are SOL.

We just stayed six nights at the Sheraton in Hong Kong. Firstly, the positive - the location is good - close to both the MTR and the Star Ferry for easy access to the main island.

To be honest, we were very disappointed with this hotel overall and don't consider it a five star experience.

The ceilings are so low that I could touch the ceiling (and I am only 5 feet 7 inches!), the room is very small (reall only suitable for one person, the bathroom is tiny (and there is a glass wall through to the bedroom (although there is a blind this is a bit off putting).

We had a harbour view room, which was quite obscured by the Intercontinental and not really worth the extra money.

The breakfast was average - tea and coffee was appalling and served in horrible stoneware mugs. Breakfast was very much a hustle & bustle and a bit 'smorgys' for those Melburnians!

When a loaned adapter blew a fuse we got in trouble for using our hair dryer, which was rated to be used at the local 220 voltage and although we have never had any problems in any other hotel in the world. It was a bit off puttng to have someone telling you off in your room!

Really, we regretted not staying at the Shangri-La Kowloon where we stayed in October which is a magnificent hotel.

If this was a four star hotel with rates to match, you may not be so dissappointed, but next time we will be staying elsewhere.

Transiting Hong Kong for the US, we got stuck due to cancellation of flights. We decided to make the most of it and did a 2 night 3 day tour of Hong Kong. Hitting the highlights, from the Sheraton, which is in Kowloon, we walked to McDonalds for breakfast (we have a 7 year old) and then to the ferry terminal (15 minute walk) and took the ferry to Hong Kong Island. The ferry costs about .50 cents per adult and kids are even cheaper. Upon arrival on the other side, we walked our way to The Peak tram (they do not take credit cards for the tram); it's about $5 per adult and half for kids. Going to the top is a very worthwhile trip with unforgettable views of the city and the peninsula. You don't need to buy the special Sky Terrace pass, which is about $2 more; you won't be missing anything special. Although, having a small meal or drinks up at the restaurants look like they might be worthwhile since the views are spectacular from there. There's even a Burger King up there. At the top, there's a tourist help center that is helpful with directions for when you get back down. We asked for directions to "the worlds longest moving walkway" and once we got back down, took a one-way bus ride to find it. Can't remember what stop it was. Taking the walkway leads you to SoHo. It's kind of a tourist trap in terms of restaurants but we ended up eating at a local Italian place...pizza and pasta. After lunch, we walked back to the ferry stop and back to Kowloon. Once in Kowloon, we bought bus tickets to find our way to the "Ladies shopping area". It's depicted on the tour maps. Basically, it's outdoor shopping with over a 100 vendors. You must bargain there. If it's Made in China, you can find it there. Afterwards, we took a bus back to the Sheraton for a quick break and then in the evening, went back out to the "men's shopping" area. It's similar to the ladies market. We walked there via the Kowloon park (very nice park in the middle of the city---incredible pool). The men's shopping is about half way between the hotel and the ladies shopping. In the evening at 8 pm, the highrises do a light show that you can see from the top of the Sheraton or from the harbour across the street. We chose to go out and see it from the harbour. It's literally right across the street. The lightshow sounds better on paper than it actually is (they really could have made it so much more), but the skyline of Hong Kong Island is really something to see, at night.

Going back to the airport, you can take bus A21 across the street and about a block from the hotel. it takes one hour and is about $2 per adult. We took a taxi to get into Tsim Tsa Tsui, where Sheraton is located and that was about $40 and a half our, without traffic.

Stayed at the Sheraton for seven nights during Lunar New Year in February. Found staff at reception helpful and asked if we would like to inspect our room prior to committing to it. Upon inspection found the view to be breathtaking and the room clean, fresh and pleasant. Bathroom a tad small, but fantastic view. Found room service to be prompt, inexpensive and very tasty. Purchased alcohol from local 7-Eleven store to enjoy in room and watch the Symphony of Lights, from the comfort of our room (outstanding). Used the Tour Desk based in hotel on a couple of occasions and found them very informative and helpful, especially "Shirley". At time of our stay hotel undergoing major redevelopment, which we were made aware of prior to booking, however, did not affect our stay in any way. Breakfast cafe had a vast array of foods to choose from with views overlooking Nathan Road, staff very pleasant. Great location, short walk to Ferry terminal and other attractions.
