We booked this hotel because it was one of the lower priced hotels we could find in Kowloon. There was some renovations going on when we stayed there, but nothing too noisy. The room was small, but that was expected in Hong Kong. The hotel is located near many shops and restaurants and is very close to a metro station. Overall this is a good choice if you have a tight budget in Hong Kong

We were a group of 5 and we reserved the Family room. 2 Double beds, 1 single bed. It was said that the rooms could be quite small and we were expecting the worst! But when we saw the room, It was really spacious! The layout was very good and they did not sacrifice on other amenities like dressers and refrigerators just to cram the beds and fit it into the room. The hotel was very modern and very clean. The location of the room is also very convenient as it is the same floor of their lounge where you can have free coffee, hot chocolate, tea or fruit juices! You can also browse the internet with their laptops for free!

The location of the hotel is very easy to find and you can take the citybus (A21) for only 33hkd. Get out on the 13th stop and its a 5min walk to the hotel. There is also a MTR station nearby (2min walk). Shopping areas like Granville Road and Nathan Road are very near also. And Bakeries and Mcdonald's is just across the street!

The only thing i did not like was that their windows are not heavily tinted and since we were at the first floor of the hotel, people outside can see you. But you can just use the heavy curtains for privacy. Also the front desk staff should be a bit more knowledgeable about questions like how to get to some tourist's spots. But all in all, the staff was very friendly! They greet whenever they see you and they smile..=)

The hotel is perfect for families traveling to Hong Kong on a budget as they also have rooms that can fit 6 people. I would definitely recommend this hotel. =)

I stayed at Hotel Benito for my Dec trip. It was just lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom was considered big. Though its a bit small, but it does not matter at all since we are always out. Most importantly, it has a very good location near to just everywhere - airport bus, train station, ferry terminal. And there are lots of shopping around. Within walking distance to lots of places. The staff were very helpful and accede to all our requests.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip. Price is reasonable.

This was a wonderful hotel. Modern, very clean, and comfortable. Service was excellent. Location is extremely convenient; close to MTR and many restaurants, banks, etc.

My room was very small, but perfect for one person (single bed). The layouts are arranged in a way that makes excellent use of the space available. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Convenience!

My family took an Airbus from Hong Kong International Airport to Hotel Benito in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was just a 40min trip that cost us around HKD $33. We then took about 5mins to locate the hotel along Cameron Road. The hotel is very near the busstop!

We then travelled around Hong Kong on the MTR for our entire stay there as Hotel Benito is 5 to 10mins walk from the MTR. At times, we would cross the sea by boat. Getting to the harbour took us about 15 mins by foot. We planned for a day trip to Macau and had to get tickets at the Hong Kong - China Ferry Terminal which is also not far away from our hotel - 15 mins walk.

Shopping!

There are MANY boutique shops around our hotel. It is a shopping haven! We managed to grab some cheap bargains and sale items around the area :)

Clean Rooms!

The hotel is new and most importantly, clean and comfortable.

Though hotel rooms are relatively small, my 2 sisters and I manage to stay comfortably in a standard double room. An added value of this hotel is the lounge at level 2 where there is free wireless internet service. There are 2 laptops around for you to serve the net or play games or do whatever you want to do. If you would like a hot drink, there is a drink dispenser machine that serves coffee and hot chocolate. Or if you are feeling hot and want a cold drink instead, there are a variety of juices to choose from. :) We actually exploit the service by going there for a breakfast drink.

Our stay in Hong Kong was pleasant because of the hotel.

I personally enjoyed my stay with Hotel Benito a lot for the price that i am paying for. On side note, I find booking with a website is cheaper than booking directly with the hotel. Definitely will go back to stay with them again.

This is a part of our 21 day trip to asia and we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.

Very nice botique hotel. MTR is only 20 meters away and this makes it easy to travel anywhere. Paid about 105USD per night upon check out. reservation was made w/ asiatravel.

Our room was small but cozy. The bathroom, however, was a decent size and clean. For the price and location it is an excellent choice and I will recommend it to friends who are visiting hong kong. As other reviewers have mentioned, the only negative for us is the size of the bedroom. It is small. We had 6 bags and we had a hard time trying to fit them all in the room without blocking our way.

The hotel is new and very clean. Great location. It is virtually outside exit B2 of the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and a 5 minute walk away from the A21 Airbus stop. Star Ferry terminal and the waterfront it is about 10-15 minute walk.

The front desk ladies were also very helpful and friendly. They even helped us bring our bags upstairs as there is no bellhop.

Highly recommended.

This is a great hotel. It is very modern, super clean, and less than a minute away away from Nathan Road, a taxi stand, the MTA and is easy walking distance to the Star Ferry. It does not serve food but there is a 24 hour Chinese restaurant on the next street and if you really must there is a 24 hour McDonald's less than a minute away plus many other restaurants. It has a nice lounge with juices, hot drinks and cookies as well as two laptops connected to the internet. The rooms are clean, have internet access, flat screen TV's and are very modern. The only negative may be the size of the bedroom. It is small, but the bathroom is good size and has a heated mirror which is a good thing to have in humid Hong Kong. We booked through asiatravel.com and paid HK$770 and HK$800 for Saturday night.

Nice botique hotel. MTR is only 20 meters away and this makes it easy to travel anywhere. I booked directly with hotel and found that cheaper. My room was small but cozy. The washroom however was a decent size and very clean. For the price and location it is an excellent choice. I speak chinese so the staff were not rude to me nor were they friendly either. Lots of shopping and eating close by and bars at night near by. TST area has it all...highend shopping and cheap stuff too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat but if you are use to north american size rooms then this is not the place for you. More suitable for couple/singles.

We booked the Benito through email directly through them and got a very decent rate, considering how expensive all the other hotels in HK were during our vacation.

We booked a standard double room and found it big enough for our needs, considering most people visit cities not hotel rooms. If you want huge American size hotel rooms look elsewhere.

As for our room, it was newly renovated with a surprisingly large bathroom with shower only. The bed was a little hard, but nothing you don't get used to after a night. There is a large in-room safe big to hold a laptop.

The hotel also has a lounge area with two laptops with free internet access. As well a hot beverage machine and some juices for when you are in the lounge.

Now what really allows this hotel excel is the location. It is virtually outside exit B2 of the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and a 5 minute walk away from the A21 Airbus stop. Also if you wish to walk down to the Star Ferry terminal and the waterfront it is a 10-15 minute walk at best.

There is also a 24-hour McDonalds across the street from the hotel and street food just down the street. There is much to recommend about the hotel and the location for those who wish to stay there when in Hong Kong.

for tourists, the location is super convenient! we paid $800/night for 7night stay,it was a fair price to pay. lots of eating places here and there. the relatively new hotel room was pretty small but since we did not plan to hangout in the room, it didn't matter. we had a clean room to rest in, take baths, etc. nothing more. the tv in our room didn't work well, we only had one working channel with poor reception. towards the end of our stay, around day 5 til we checked out,we noticed that the room hasn't been cleaned as efficiently compared to the past days.

the lady manager, monica, i think she was the only one who spoke english quite well, was rude and arrogant. however the more senior male manager was always pleasant and attentive.the staff although inexperienced really try to be of service to you, that is if your lucky enough to get the message across.

my daughter threw up one night, the guy who changed our sheets was muttering to himself quite loudly, he sounded annoyed and mad that we called for service. funny, as customers, don't we pay for their services?

you do get what you pay for. if you are not too "needy" maybe inferior service won't matter. but if you are a normal tourist who may have questions and may need service every now and then, you may be in for an ordeal.

if i rate solely on location, i'd be back again and book in this hotel with no doubt! if you take into account their service and increasing prices, i'd rather stay somewhere else.

We booked this Hotel with little information so we were a little apprehensive until we got there. We were pleasantly surprised!

What we did know was, it was new, at a great price, no bk/fast facilites and pretty much no frills.

When we arrived there were 2 staff to greet us, a little limited in English, but polite. We had quick check-in and while there's no official bellboy we were able to find our way easily. Being a boutique Hotel it's quite small and only a few rooms per floor. There are 2 lifts but the 2nd can be easily missed as it is set further back in the foyer.

We found the Hotel quiet, clean and simple. I have posted photos to see our 2 Dbl Bed family room and features. (I personally found the bed a little firm but my husband didn't mind). There's tea/coffee making facilities, safe and robes/slippers, plus a welcome bowl of fruit (which we ate). The room also has windows which we were unable to be opened but the airconditioner was efficient. The only time we really needed the fresh air was on a 98% humidity day and even then I don't know how much relief it really would've given us.

The bathroom took us by surprise and in the shower you can fit 1 adult and 2 children in it with room to move. (Obviously handy for families). The shampoo + Soap are provided and a pleasant smell for all the family. They provide a toiletries basket as well which came in handy and was a nice touch.

On the 1st floor is the free internet cafe. It's very modern and clean and has a cafe bar machine for free hot drinks, a lounge to relax and watch tv (large plasma screen) and a viewing window of the street outside. We used the internet connection in our room which was also free and handy.

For bk/fast you have a few options : 1) you can go next door to the bakery and sit at tables. 2) head across the rd on a left angle and go to the bigger bakery for on the go food. 3) Go to Mc Donalds about 30 sec down the rd. It's a cafe as well to approx 10pm and open 24 hrs. If you like Dim Sum then try the building to the right as you exit and go back down the alley a little. Turn left for the entrance and walk around to the 2nd area of lifts to the 4th floor. We loved it and it was full of locals so it must have been good. If you are stuck ask the staff at the counter as they told us how to find it.

One other bonus to note is that the Mtr exit/entrance is across the rd from McDonalds, so very close. Easy access to a lot of places from there. We also caught the A21 bus from the airport which was a couple of minutes to walk from Nathan Rd to the lane off Cameron Rd to the Hotel.

Something I would like to see is some welcome brochures/info sheets in the rooms to let you know of their services (eg Internet Rm) and helpful info for the surrounding area.

Also to note: We didn't have any problems with our electricity.

Hotel Benito is 1 min to Nathan Rd, close to MTR, McDonalds, Knutsford Tce (for special dining), Granville Rd (for outlet shopping) and a few blocks away from the Space Museum / Avenue of the stars / Symphony of Lights area. (We walked it easily several times with kids). Well worth anyone looking for good, clean, modern, no frills, convenient accomodation!

The location was superb as far as I have. MTR is near by, less than 2mins walk, food is abundant even at night. But expect nothing more than that

1) Internet is available/ They have no wireless and go through wired. But they do not have LAN wire!

2) The room looks big in the photo, but very deceiving. For those who have stayed in a hostel, right beside the door, it is the bed, and there is less than a 2 AO sized of walking space.

3) Bed is real hard, and no amenities. Very hostel, bunk room feel.

4) Room service did not clear up in proper

5) Hotel service , u can take it as none. No bell boys, single lift that takes forever, and slow check in and check out

What is worst? When we decided to take in all these bad points, and decided to go back there in Jan 08, we were being charged of HKD1000 despite what the rates published in the website!

(We had it for HKD600)

Bad, and will never recommend anyone to stay there.

Hotel is newly opened in Nov & I had booked myself & my partner 7 nights from 23 - 30 Dec 07 at HKD600 per night. A great steal considering nearby hotels were as high as HKD1000+ per night.

Overall experience was good as location was a great contributor. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is just 2 mins away, roads were safe even if you return late at night. There's a famous franchise chain dessert shop across the street where you can get nice mango desserts.

For free & easy travellers, you may even tak the airport bus to the hotel (a 5 mins walk from bus stop to hotel).

Not so good part include the small lobby, wonky electricity. During my stay, the electricity will go off for a few seconds before coming back on. Water pressure in the shower room will also vary on some days. Size of bathroom is small with no bathtub but should be of no concern to most asians.

I would classify it as a no-frills hotel. Room is clean and new. Am aware that prices are going up so may not be such a good choice in the near future.

If you're looking for a hotel in a convenient location with a reasonable price, do consider this.
