The location is a blessing and a curse. If you want quite without the hustle and the bustle of the city, then this is your place. If you want to be right in the middle of the action or even have the ability to take a ten minute walk to other shops and restaurants, then maybe you should look elsewhere. A excellent location for some. We enjoyed walking the quite gardens on the North west tip of the lake, but it took us forty-five minutes to walk to the downtown area. Taxis are easy to get to
breakfast could be improved, for instance porridge--which is rice cooked in a lot of water, nothing added--and white buns make a very white and tasteless platter.
The staff here was Ok but did not match the staff at your hostel iN Suzhou which was fantastic. Location was very nice although a little hard for the taxi driver to find.
When I entered the room, I couldn't believe that a hostel can be so clean! Great location and very helpful staff. No need to hesitate!!!
