Its a very good experience staying in this hotel. Very near to Metro station. Hotel staff are very helpfull and friendly. I feel very safe and its location that makes it perfect for people who wants to explore Guangzhou. As muslims, there are Halal food restaurant nearby. One of the oldest mosque also situated nearby this hotel. I definitely give it a thumb's up.
A week at Zhuhai Special Economic Zone (S.E.Z.) Hotel pushed it up to one of my preferred hotels. In future trips to Guangzhou, I will have this quality hotel as my top choice.
The prices were very reasonable compared to other 3-star hotels in Guangzhou starting from around 250 yuan (US$36).
It is extremely convenient with Ximenkou Guangzhou Metro Station and a McDonalds just a few hundred metres away. It also is close to a Computer Centre with lots of cheap, but genuine, electronics such as laptops and stereos. This hotel also offers a choice of a Japanese or Chinese (dim sum etc.) cuisine for a very low price (compared to western standards).
In the hotel, all the amenities of a 5-star hotel were avaliable with a safe, hair dryers, and cable, even tourist guides of Guangzhou were avaliable! I would recommed anyone for an exceptional experience at Zhuhai Special Economic Zone (S.E.Z.) Hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years for the Canton Fair, and the staff is excellent , the rooms are large, and well equiped, and the hotel has been renovated recently, with the subway , a computer market and a MacDonalds with 100 yds, makes your stay more comfortable. I recommend this hotel for business travelers attending the Canton Fair.
Fourth visit to Guangzhou and I always stay here for comfort, and excellent co-ordination with Front Office staff under a very efficient Reservation Mgr Ms Susan
Very centrally located- just 15 mts walking time to Beijing Night Bazar- great place to unwind after a busy day
Next to Metro- connecting whole of Guangzhou easily.
With Macdonalds just 2 minutes walking time away assured of a good meal at all times, incl late night at mid night.
Rates very very reasonable- yet NO short comings in facilities, incl Foot Massage at night at damn cheap rates.
HIghly recommended for budget traveller.
The room is new decorated so it is nice but have to improve the air conditional. Service is O.K. and the location is in the center which can take the taxi to other shopping areas within 10 RMB or can take the metro. It is convenient.
