Booked for business in preference to Crown Prince where we usually stay and dislike. Despite ridiculously large lobby and miles to walk to fitness centre; overall excellent.
Lovely modern large rooms with great bathrooms, only flaw ,shower door has been put on wrongly; opening inwards so difficult to manouver in/out.
Great buffet with fab choice.
Club lounge facilities comfortable, pleasant with a very enjoyable breakfast, good service.
Wanted to swim in indoor pool, couldn't because "only one lifeguard and he was attending the outdoor pool." Very disappointing as indoor pool looked fab and I didnt fancy being bitten by mosquitos.
Lower ground bar with the most hilariously awful band in the world. However the drinks were fine and they graciously stayed open until we retired early in the morning.
We would definitely choose to stay again
This is One of the Best 5 Star hotel I have ever Stayed. Definitely best in Dongguan. The Rooms are just amazing, we were upgraded to a Lake View Luxury Suite which was huge - had a bathroom of size of a Big room, bath tub in the Balcony, 2 Plasma TV's. Very comfortable Bed and a Leather Sofa.
The property is at a very good location in Dongguan, on the ShongShan Lake. The Lobby is huge and very modernistic in decor. The Breakfast and food is at its best.
They have a Free Shuttle going on during the Canton Fair, I would recommend this hotel over any other hotel in that area.
