I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a business trip.

Reception

Very smart and luxurious. They were pumping a nice smell into the reception too. Concierge very helpful and reception staff efficient.

Room

I was in a club room which was fantastic. Had all the mod cons you'd expect and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nice view from the 24th floor too. Electricity went off once but was fixed quickly.

Food

Many restaurants in the hotel so plenty of choice. I only ate at Bamboo, the Chinese one. Very nice with good service and authentic cuisine.

Service

All staff were friendly and warm. Lots of smiles and hellos. English was spoken by most too, albeit quite basic English.

Location

About 30-50 minutes from the airport depending who is driving as Chongqing is a maze! The hotel is quite out of the central part so maybe not ideal for a tourist? However, Chongqing is so spread out it may not matter where you are. You can get to most places within 40 minutes (traffic is busy).

Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and the service I received.
